Norway

We had originally moved to Norway for a couple of months, but years passed by and we fell in love with this country so much that we want to stay! Our way started on the South after we took a ferry from Denmark and drive all the way up to Northern Norway – Lofoten. Norway has a breathtaking diverse nature, steep fjords, monumental views, glaciers, and many waterfalls all over the country. We were lucky enough to see that and get more time to explore Lofoten which lies on the turbulent waters of the Norwegian Sea, far above the Arctic Circle. Majestic mountains, deep fjords, seabird colonies, whales and dolphins, charming fishing villages and long, surf-swept turquoise beaches are all that can be found here. This all is a hiker’s paradise. And of course, summer midnight sun and winter northern lights – the best show in the sky!
