Vietnam swept us up in a vibrant rush of color, motion, and flavor, offering a striking cultural contrast at every stop. We began in Hanoi, where the streets pulsed with life, motorbikes flowed like rivers, and the air was rich with the aromas of street food and simmering broth. Between wandering the Old Quarter and sampling local delicacies, we quickly fell into the rhythm of the city.

Leaving the urban energy behind, we hopped on motorbikes and rode north into the mountains of La Pán Tẩn and Sapa. Here, emerald rice terraces cascaded down steep hillsides, disappearing into mist as clouds rolled through the valleys. Remote villages, quiet trails, and ever-changing light made this region feel both timeless and alive.

On the coast, we drifted through the surreal seascape of Ha Long Bay on an overnight cruise, gliding between towering limestone karsts rising straight from the water. Nearby, the lush islands of Cat Ba offered a wilder, greener escape of jungle paths and hidden coves. Our journey continued by train to Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng National Park, where we explored some of the largest and most spectacular caves on Earth, vast underground worlds sculpted over millions of years.

We ended our travels in Hoi An, where glowing lanterns illuminated ancient streets and riverside cafés. As night fell and the city shimmered in warm light, Vietnam left us with a sense of wonder, balance, and unforgettable beauty.
