My journey through Thailand began on the magical island of Koh Phangan, where I spent a transformative month completing my Yoga Teacher Training. Surrounded by palm trees, turquoise water, and peaceful beaches, each day was filled with meditation, breathwork, philosophy, and movement. The island’s gentle rhythm, tropical nature, and spiritual atmosphere made it the perfect place to reset, reconnect, and grow — both physically and emotionally.
After this deeply grounding experience, I flew to Indonesia for three unforgettable weeks of adventure. The first challenge was the dramatic ascent of Mount Rinjani on Lombok — a demanding three-night volcano trek that pushed my limits with steep climbs, loose volcanic rock, cold nights, and relentless elevation. Reaching the crater rim at sunrise, watching the sky turn gold over the lake and volcano, felt like standing on the edge of the world. It was raw, exhausting, and absolutely exhilarating.
Following the intensity of Rinjani, I drifted into a slower rhythm on the Gili Islands — tiny tropical paradises with white sand, bicycles instead of cars, colourful coral reefs, and some of the most unforgettable sunsets. Days were spent swimming, snorkeling, relaxing in beach cafés, and simply enjoying life at island speed.
I wrapped up the trip in Kuta, Lombok, known for its stunning beaches, turquoise bays, soft waves, and delicious local food. After weeks of challenge and transformation, Kuta offered the perfect balance of rest, culture, and coastal beauty.
From yoga and inner work in Thailand to volcano trekking and island bliss in Indonesia, this chapter of my travels was a powerful mix of growth, challenge, and tropical freedom.
