We stopped in the Faroe Islands on our journey from Iceland to Denmark and took the chance to leave the ferry for a few days to explore this magical North Atlantic archipelago. The islands welcomed us with raw, untouched nature — dramatic sea cliffs, endless cascading waterfalls, rolling green hills, and cosy grass-roofed houses. The ever-changing clouds and mysterious weather made it feel like stepping back in time, seeing how people once lived in harmony with rugged, powerful landscapes.
We wished we could have stayed longer to connect even more with this unforgettable place, but we left grateful for the beauty and the short, soul-stirring experience it gave us.
